Lauren - A Girl with her Horse
Lauren and her mom commissioned me for a two part senior portrait session. One part in nature with her horses and one part in the city. I can't help but grin when I look at these photos because it was a huge task to get these shot. If you saw me do the shoot, you might have thought, "Oh man, I hope Ling got something out of this set because she doesn't look like she got anything."Lauren was amazing of course, but the horses were not so cooperative. When we did the photoshoot, it was around the horse's dinner time, so pretty much the whole shoot the horses had their faces to the ground trying to eat grass. It was a hilarious scene trying to get them to concentrate on the pictures. Eventually, we wised up and started waving treats in their faces. That kind of did the trick. We got some really cute sitting down photos of Lauren feeding treats to her horse. The above shot was particularly adorable because the horse was literally trying to eat the treat that was next to Lauren's elbow. I still giggle every time when I see this picture. It's so cute. After we finished up with the horses, we took down Lauren's gorgeous braid, and we found a field of yellow wild flowers and a giant moss tree to finish off the rest of the nature shoot.
