Featured Session: Laura S - houston tx college senior portraits

A few months ago, Laura found my work through a mutual friend and sent me a very sweet letter. We became facebook friends fairly quickly, and through her thoughtful comments and her language, I already knew I really liked her. When she asked for me to photograph her, I was over the moon. I was genuinely excited to meet her in person. We had exchanged a few emails and spoke over the phone, but there is nothing like meeting face-to-face and really getting to know each other.When I met Laura for her pre-session consultation, my first thoughts were "Wow! She looks even better in person." and "oh my gosh, she glows!" Some people just light up the room, and Laura's one of them.For this session, I really tried to make sure I capture that glow and sweet spirit she has within her. We laughed a lot, kept things very relaxed, and we had a great time. Laura's mom came along and was the best assistant I could have asked for for that session. She was so encouraging and such a good sport. I kind of wish I could have her on all of my sessions. :)This past weekend, Laura graduated from her Masters program at SFA, so we're celebrating with portraits from the session!
