Introducing Beauty Sessions with Cindy D
I don't know about you, but the women in my life are super heroes. They get up early, make breakfast and pack lunches, ship their kids off to school, go to work and be awesome at their jobs, come home, cook, clean, do the laundry, help kids with homework, puts the kids to bed, give the hubby some lovin', and while doing all of those things, they're modeling loving wife and mom. I'm running out of breath just talking about everything the modern day woman has to do.And Cindy, whom I had the opportunity to photograph is exactly such a lady as I described above. But here's the truth, super heroes need breaks too, and ladies, you gotta make some time for yourselves. You need to find time to relax and just be you. Plan it, schedule it, and put it in the calendar. So the "Beauty Session" that I'm introducing is basically a day to celebrate who you are and for you to have photos that commemorate your beautiful selves. Most women past their wedding day never do any sort of portraits for themselves. They'll do family portrait sessions, but never something quite for themselves. I think it's because most photographers don't advertise beauty portrait sessions, so people don't even think of it as an option. The other reason is probably because many women often feel guilty when they're doing something for themselves and not for their family.Well...I'm not a mom so I can't relate, but I have an incredible mom, and I'm always happy for her when she does something for herself. You know why? Because she deserves it. She works so hard day in and day out, and the amount she contributes to our family far outweighs the time and money she spends on her own needs. She deserves the best, and as a daughter, whatever makes her happy makes me happy too.So ladies, I'm giving you permission, it's okay to love yourself too.-xoxoLing
