Mariette - Clear Lake Tx Senior Portrait Photographer

Mariette, a class of 2013 senior from Lutheran South Academy is an amazingly well-traveled, smart, and genuinely one of the sweetest girls I've ever met.  When her mom contacted me about her senior portraits, she said to me, "Mariette just isn't a country girl," addressing her concerns that she doesn't see Mariette in tall grass and cowboy boots.  My response was, "me neither."  I love cityscapes, and having lived in New York for five years before settling in Texas, I still prefer standing on firm concrete.Mariette, along with her mom and her best friend, and I went down to Galveston for this photoshoot because it's urban, without there being high risers everywhere.  It's one of my most popular requested spots for photoshoots because there is so much variety and different colors everywhere.  Every year, Mariette dances and performs at the Galveston Opera House, so we took some photos there as well to commemorate the memories she has there.
