Makenzie Johnston - Houston City and Nature Senior Portraits

One of the joys in photographing seniors is learning about their fresh ambitions and dreams, as they begin their adult lives. In learning about Makenzie, she aspires to pursue neonatal nursing as her career. However, she still has many other dreams and aspirations! In her spare time, she loves to dabble in fashion and modeling. Which, I must say, she rocks at! During our styling portion of her senior experience, we discussed her love of fashion - so her session was super inspiring for both of us! Makenzie brought such a gorgeous collection of pieces to her wardrobe, all of which perfectly reflected her personal style. From her slightly edgy city look, to her softer nature looks…together she had the perfect combination!During her session, we had such fun playing up her looks and drawing from her love of modeling. We stayed true to her senior portraits and personality, yet added a slight editorial edge to her session for her modeling portfolio. This also created such an inspiring experience for me as her photographer! I continue to become inspired by my clients and their individuality…makes for a new inspiring experience each and every time! Makenzie, you were a joy to photograph and get to know!
