Galentine's Day Styled Shoot
We've been looking for a cute way to announce our Senior Rep team that we have this year, and what a better way to celebrate than have a Galentine's Day shoot. One of the things we really believe in is the "community over competition" motto. We believe in supporting our seniors and their dreams, and we believe that it's important to create a group that can come together to support each other creatively and also give back to the community.Our 2017 rep team consists of nine seniors, and they are our Ling Wang Photography ambassadors for their school. We're missing two of our reps from this shoot because they were off competing in extracurriculars for their schools, but you'll see them in future styled shoots for sure.Thanks for reading our blog, and we wish you an awesome Galentine's Day and Valentine's Day with your loved ones!
Even though it was a Galentine's Day shoot, we couldn't leave out Andrew, who is the only senior boy on our rep team. He's been a great sport, and we had him join us for photos when he wasn't shooting behind the scenes footage. You can check out his teaser film for this shoot at the end of the blog post.
Galentine's Day Sleepover by Jessica Pettey
We've been wanting to do a sleepover theme for a styled shoot for awhile, and this was the perfect opportunity to do it. The images below were shot by our associate photographer Jessica Pettey, and they prove that you can never go wrong throwing a PJ party with balloons, chocolates, and all your besties!
Giving Back 2017
We believe in giving back to our community, and there are three local charities that have really touched our hearts: Generation One, Free the Captives, and Star of Hope. This year, we're committed to donating $50 per client to these charities with a total goal of raising $5000 for the year. The pebbles in the jars indicate dollar amounts, and we hope to fill them up to the brim. These organizations that have done incredibly work in Houston, and we want to support them financially and with our time. We'll do another blog post on this soon. Stay tuned!
