Published: Denim + Grace September Issue

It has been a long time dream of mine to be published in a national magazine, and it finally happened. Denim+Grace is an incredible resource for photographers, and I'm humbled to be a part of the September issue.  Not to sound like an Oscar speech, but I'm truly thankful for every client, friend, and family member that has supported me.  Without you, I wouldn't be able to live my dream everyday of creating beautiful images.  Above all, I am thankful to God for the stirring in my heart to pursue photography.  Five years ago, if someone had said I would be a photographer one day, I would have laughed it off.  I didn't go to school for it, and my life was heading in a completely different direction. Photography turned out to be the perfect job for me.  I'm excited about it everyday and can hardly stop thinking about it.Here's what this experience has taught me: NEVER GIVE UP!  If you're passionate about it, and you want it, don't let anybody tell you that you can't reach your dreams.  You can if you're willing, and you work hard at it.You can grab an issue of the September issue of Denim + Grace Here, if you're interested.  It's a magazine specifically for photographers, and there's some great articles in the September issue.  A favorite of mine was written by Ryan Towe, who is another senior portrait photographer.Also, check out the Denim + Grace website and photography blog.
