Our turnaround time between the photoshoot and your ordering session is typically around 2 weeks. Digitals are delivered within 7 days of the ordering. Products are typically delivered 2-3 weeks after the ordering session.

What is your turnaround time?

Simply let us know during booking or pre-session consultation that you would like hair done at the same time as makeup, and we will book an artist to do your hair for you. It is a $75 additional charge paid to the hairstylist on the day of your shoot. 

If I want to add hair styling to my photoshoot experience, how do I do that?

All of that will be discussed during your pre-session consultation.

How many outfits do we bring? Where do we go for our photoshoot?

How many photos do you take and how many do we get in our gallery?

We take hundreds of photos each session, but our client galleries are usually around 50-60 images. We love to capture motion, so we take many photos to get the one. You don’t need the photos of your half blinking eye or that awkward mid-smile. We only want to show you off at your best, and our discerning clients know that it’s about quality over quantity.

Portrait sessions typically start 3-4 hours before sunset: 1 hour for makeup, and 3 hours for photographing and traveling. Headshot, commercial, and fashion sessions will vary in session time.

What time of day do you shoot and how long is the session?


We accept checks, cash, and credit/debit cards. At this time, however, we are not accepting American Express cards. 

What type of payment methods do you accept?

Since we do not believe in doing anything half-way, we do not offer mini-sessions or discounted packages with only a few photos. To do so would be giving our clients less than our best, and we always want to give our 100%.

Do you offer mini-sessions or smaller collections for people who only want a few images?

Yes, we do! We want you to have the experience of a lifetime and the perfect keepsakes to match it, and we are honored to help you pre-plan your finances so that you can get exactly what you want. In order to qualify for payment plans, you have to bring it up to us during the booking process. For example, if you know you want to purchase our $3000 collection, but prefer to break it up into monthly payments, you can plan your payments, so that by the time you finish your session and are ready to order products, you will have already paid off your investment. This is one of the great benefits of booking early! Payment plans that are not pre-planned are subject to additional fees.

Do you offer payment plans?

The session fee covers professional makeup and our time only. It is a separate cost from the portrait collections.

Does my session fee apply towards my portrait collection?


Book early to secure the availability of the photographer you want. The recommended time for booking is 3-4 months in advance. We typically fill up our schedule pretty quickly at the beginning of each season and sell out our dates early on. Clients wanting to do payment plans have to book early in order to qualify (details in the investment section below).

How far in advance should we book?

You can always indicate your preference when you inquire.  However, all LWP photographers photograph in the same style and carry the same high standards for all portrait shoots. Most of our seniors book by what works best for their schedule and the photographer that is available for their preferred date.

Do we get to choose our photographer?

Houston, TX. We travel all over Houston for photoshoots, but we predominantly photograph in South Houston and within the I-610 Loop.
